Every year The United Catholic Music and Video Association (U.C.M.V.A.) hosts the Unity Awards. Voting is made by the UCMVA members and acknowledges top albums, artists, videos, songs, and groups.
This year the 7th Annual Unity Awards was be held at Galvin Fine Arts Center, Iowa on Saturday, October 21, 2006 and Cheer Up Charlie recieved Unity Awards in two categories.

Yes you are reading this correctly. After much dedication, support and tireless efforts Jason Kopp has made the decision to leave Cheer Up Charlie.
Ok deep breath, here's the deal... don't get all crazy freaked out that Jason is going astray or that Cheer Up Charlie is going their separate ways or any other nonsense like that.
There just comes a time when God directs us in different directions for many great reasons. Please read(like now) the Journal entry from Jason. It explains things further and is very motivating.
Jason will be playing his last show with the band on July 9th in PA. Please go and show your support.
